Club Cushions was created by Tondalaya for the empowerment and acceptance of women of size. An aspiring plus size model herself, she had a dream of starting something that would shed a new light on the term BBW (big beautiful women). Tired of the negative sexual connotations of the term and being overlooked by the fashion industry. Her vision was to develop a business, a brand, a state of mind where women are proud and confident of who they are and not what society says they should be.

Club Cushions is a lifestyle, a way of living. With the average women being a size 14 today, it is very clear that we are not going anywhere. So quit feeling down, and feeling sorry for yourself for being a plus size woman.
